Comparing Companies

Learn how to compare transport providers using reviews, ratings, and key service factors.

Search for a company, then open its profile. You'll see its star rating, its reviews, and its FMCSA license info.

It's the average of all reviews over time. It updates as new reviews come in.

It's a unique ID the FMCSA gives to carriers. It tracks safety, compliance, and inspections.

It's the FMCSA's permission slip. It lets a company move vehicles across state lines for pay.

Interstate carriers need both. Brokers need an MC number with broker authority. Without the right authority, a company can't legally take your booking.

Every profile shows the USDOT and MC numbers, plus the current status, straight from FMCSA data.

The company is registered, licensed, and insured to move cars across state lines.

The FMCSA canceled their authority. This can happen over lapsed insurance, safety issues, or rule breaks.

Their authority is on hold, often from an expired BOC-3 filing or a lapse in insurance.

It shows you're hiring a real, legal company. A company with no authority is a big red flag.

Check their MC number for "Broker" authority. You'll find this on their Transportvibe profile.

Don't book with them. A revoked company can't legally move your car. The FMCSA pulled its authority.
