Who we are

Transportvibe, Inc. ("Transportvibe," "we," "us," or "our") is the data controller responsible for your personal information collected through transportvibe.com and all related services (the "Platform").

We are incorporated in the State of Delaware, USA. Our registered address is 1209 Orange Street, Wilmington, Delaware 19801, United States. For all privacy-related enquiries, contact our Privacy Team at privacy@transportvibe.com.

This Privacy Policy applies to all Users of the Platform — including customers researching auto transport, people leaving reviews, brokers and carriers managing company profiles, and anyone using the AI Advisor or Full Service.

Information from third parties

We may receive information from third-party services in limited circumstances — for example, if you sign in using a third-party authentication provider (such as Google), we receive your name and email address from that provider. We do not purchase or receive personal data from data brokers.

Why we collect it - legal basis

We only collect and process personal data where we have a lawful basis for doing so. The bases we rely on are:

  • Contract performance: Processing necessary to provide the Platform services you've requested — including publishing your reviews, managing your Full Service shipment, or operating your company profile.
  • Legitimate interests: Processing necessary for our legitimate business interests — including fraud detection, security, improving the Platform, and ensuring review integrity — where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
  • Consent: Processing based on your explicit consent — such as sending you marketing communications or setting non-essential cookies. You may withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legal obligation: Processing required to comply with applicable law — including tax and accounting obligations, FMCSA record-keeping requirements, and responding to lawful governmental requests.

Marketing emailsWe only send marketing emails if you have explicitly opted in. You can unsubscribe from any marketing email at any time using the unsubscribe link in the email, or by emailing privacy@transportvibe.com. Transactional emails (such as review verification and shipment updates) are not affected by marketing opt-outs.

Who we share with

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in the limited circumstances described below, and only to the extent necessary.

Companies you review

When you submit a review, the Published review text and your first name and last initial are visible to the Company you reviewed (if they have a claimed profile) and to the public. Your email address, full name, and unpublished personal details are never shared with the company you reviewed.

Full Service carriers

For Full Service bookings, we share your name, contact number, vehicle details, and pickup/delivery address with the assigned carrier — strictly for the purpose of completing your shipment.

Legal and regulatory

We may disclose personal data if required by applicable law, court order, subpoena, or regulatory request — including to FMCSA, FTC, or law enforcement agencies investigating fraud or violations. We will notify you of such disclosure where legally permitted to do so.

Business transfers

If Transportvibe is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred to the acquiring entity. We will notify you before any such transfer and give you the opportunity to delete your account if you do not consent.

All third-party service providers are vetted and contractually required to process data only on our instructions, maintain appropriate security standards, avoid using your data for their own purposes, and comply with applicable data protection law.

Cookies & tracking

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies such as local storage and session tokens. Cookies help us keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and understand how the Platform is used.

Managing cookies

You can manage or disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will impair your ability to use the Platform. Most browsers offer cookie management through Settings → Privacy or Tools → Options. You can also use your browser's incognito/private mode to browse without persistent cookies.

Transportvibe does not use advertising cookies, does not allow retargeting pixels, and does not share browsing data with advertising networks. The platform is ad-free and tracking-minimal.

Data retention

We retain personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Specific retention periods:

When data is no longer required, we securely delete or anonymise it so it can no longer be linked to you. Anonymised or aggregated data (which cannot identify you) may be retained indefinitely for statistical and research purposes.

Security

Transportvibe implements appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, accidental loss, destruction, or disclosure. These measures include:

  • Encryption in transit: All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using TLS (HTTPS).
  • Encryption at rest: Sensitive data stored in our databases is encrypted at rest.
  • Password hashing: Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms; we never store plaintext passwords.
  • Access controls: Personal data is accessible only to authorised Transportvibe personnel on a need-to-know basis.
  • Regular security reviews: We conduct regular audits and vulnerability assessments of our infrastructure.
  • Secure payment handling: Card payments are processed by Stripe under PCI-DSS compliance; we do not store card numbers.

No system is completely secure. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal data, we will notify you as required by applicable law — within 72 hours for breaches requiring regulatory notification, and promptly thereafter for breaches affecting you directly.

Reporting a security issueIf you discover a potential security vulnerability in the Platform, please report it responsibly to security@transportvibe.com before disclosing it publicly. We investigate all reports and commit to responding within 5 business days.

Information from third parties

We may receive information from third-party services in limited circumstances - for example, if you sign in using a third-party authentication provider (such as Google), we receive your name and email address from that provider. We do not purchase or receive personal data from data brokers.

We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a data rights request to ensure we are releasing or modifying data about the correct person. We will not charge a fee for routine requests. If a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive, we reserve the right to charge a reasonable fee or decline the request.

California (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) provide you with specific rights regarding your personal information.

Categories of personal information collected

In the past 12 months, Transportvibe has collected the following categories of personal information as defined under CCPA: identifiers (name, email, IP address); internet or other electronic network activity (browsing behaviour on the Platform); commercial information (subscription and payment history); and inferences drawn from usage data to create a profile about your preferences.

Your CCPA rights

  • Right to Know: You may request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, our business purpose for collecting it, and the third parties we share it with.
  • Right to Delete: You may request deletion of personal information we have collected, subject to certain exceptions.
  • Right to Correct: You may request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing: Transportvibe does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. No opt-out is required, but you may submit a request to confirm at privacy@transportvibe.com
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights.
  • Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: We do not use sensitive personal information for purposes beyond providing the Platform services.

Submitting a CCPA request

To submit a verifiable consumer request under the CCPA, email privacy@transportvibe.com with the subject line "CCPA Request." We will respond within 45 days and may extend by an additional 45 days with notice. You may designate an authorised agent to make a request on your behalf by providing written authorisation.

Do Not Sell or ShareTransportvibe does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising as defined by the CPRA. This applies to all California residents regardless of age.

Children's privacy

The Platform is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided personal information to us, please contact us immediately at privacy@transportvibe.com and we will delete that information promptly.

Users between the ages of 13 and 18 may use the Platform only with the consent and involvement of a parent or guardian, in accordance with our Terms of Service age requirement of 18+. In practice, the Platform's subject matter (auto transport) is primarily relevant to adults, and we do not intentionally market to or collect data from minors.

Third-party links

The Platform contains links to third-party websites and platforms — including external review platforms (Google, Trustpilot, BBB, ConsumerAffairs, Yelp) and company websites. When you click these links, you leave the Transportvibe Platform and are subject to the privacy policies of those third-party sites.

Transportvibe is not responsible for the privacy practices of any third-party website. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any site you visit. Our links to external platforms are provided for informational convenience — they do not indicate partnership, endorsement, or integration beyond what is described in our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy.

The AI Advisor may reference or discuss third-party companies and services. Such references do not constitute partnerships or data-sharing arrangements with those companies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make material changes, we will:

  • Post the updated policy on this page with a new "Last updated" date
  • Notify registered users by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect
  • Display a notice on the Platform for at least 14 days prior to the effective date

Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. If the changes are material and you do not accept them, you must stop using the Platform and may request deletion of your account.

We archive all prior versions of this policy. You may request a copy of any prior version by emailing privacy@transportvibe.com with the date of the version you require.
