Paul's Auto Transport, LLC
This company currently receives an AVOID verdict because FMCSA records show an inactive registration or operating authority required for its services. This is a regulatory concern, separate from customer reviews: positive feedback does not resolve it. We recommend choosing another provider unless updated FMCSA records confirm the required status is active.

About Paul's Auto Transport, LLC
Paul's Auto Transport is a North Port, Florida-based car shipping broker that arranges open car shipping and enclosed auto transport nationwide. Its service list covers door-to-door residential moves, dealer-to-dealer and auction-to-dealer runs, snowbird relocations, military moves and motorcycle transport.
Quotes can move in both directions here. Its broker contract says that if no truck will take your car at the quoted rate, Paul's will call with options, which may include a higher price, and it won't raise the cost without talking to you first. If the shipment ends up costing less than the contracted price, the terms say you get the lower price.
Open carrier orders come with a 1 to 5 day pickup window. Enclosed orders get 1 to 3 days. Transit can take up to 14 days, and the terms give no delivery date guarantee. When a street is too tight, or has low trees or wires, the truck may meet you at a nearby shopping center.
Booking puts a $1 fraud-prevention charge on your card, credited toward the bill if the car ships. Nothing else is charged until pickup. Then you choose one of two plans. The discounted cash price takes about $150 to $195 by card after pickup, and you pay the driver the rest in cash or a cashier's check at delivery. The regular price puts the full amount on your card once the car is in transit. You can cancel before a carrier is assigned, though the contract lists a $150 minimum cancellation charge. A $150 dry-run fee applies if the car isn't ready on the first available date, and an undisclosed non-running vehicle adds $150.
Paul's books licensed carriers and doesn't run its own trucks. It collects each carrier's certificate of insurance before assigning your car. Damage claims go to that carrier, in writing, within 5 days of delivery.
Paul's Auto Transport, LLC is based in North Port, FL, and its website displays USDOT 3489175 and MC-1147749. As of October 20, 2026, FMCSA's SAFER system marks that USDOT record as inactive, and a search for the MC number returns no record.
