About Neptune Auto Transport LLC
Neptune Auto Transport LLC, an auto transport broker in Brooklyn, New York, has arranged car shipping since February 2022. It books open car shipping and enclosed auto transport for cars, motorcycles, RVs and travel trailers, boats and heavy equipment, along with classic, exotic and inoperable vehicles. Shipments run across the U.S., and its website also lists Alaska, Hawaii and Guam by ocean carrier.
Pickup timing depends on the rate you choose. Neptune's terms describe two. The Economy Saver Rate aims to land a carrier within about 7 work days of your available date at the quoted price, but the terms put the odds of a carrier accepting that price at 5% to 30%. If nobody takes it, Neptune raises the offer in steps and you decide whether to pay more. The First Class Rate locks the price and guarantees a set-day or next-day pickup window. If a carrier wants more, Neptune covers the gap.
For transit, its website estimates 1 to 4 days for trips under 800 miles and 10 to 15 days for routes of 2,400 miles or more.
You pay Neptune's service fee once a carrier accepts the order. The balance goes to the driver at delivery in cash or certified funds. Charging the whole shipment to a card through Neptune adds 8.75% for Visa or Mastercard and 9.75% for other cards. Canceling is free until a carrier accepts. After that, the fee is at least $199. If your assigned carrier drops out, Neptune gets 3 tries at a replacement before you can cancel for a full refund.
Neptune never takes possession of your vehicle. The carrier's cargo policy covers it in transit, so write any new damage on the bill of lading before you sign or pay the driver.
Neptune's office is at 64 Quentin Rd in Brooklyn. FMCSA lists it under USDOT 3824247 and MC-1384866 with active broker authority. It has been BBB accredited since July 2023.
