About MoverJet Logistics LLC
MoverJet Logistics LLC has arranged auto transport out of Wilmington, Delaware since 2017. The car shipping broker books open car shipping and enclosed auto transport across the 48 contiguous states, plus motorcycles, ATVs, RVs, heavy equipment, classic cars and non-running vehicles. Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico moves are possible too, but its terms say you pay the ocean leg yourself before the car reaches the port.
MoverJet gives itself 5 business days. Its terms ask for 1 to 5 business days from your first available date to get a standard car, SUV, pickup or motorcycle picked up. Miss that, and you can walk away with no penalty. The broker's fee, which the terms call a deposit, isn't charged until the carrier actually picks up your vehicle.
The balance goes to the driver at delivery in cash, a cashier's check, a money order or Zelle. Paying the whole bill by card costs a 4% surcharge. The terms also list a $150 fee if the car stops running in transit, $200 for a dry run when the vehicle isn't ready, $75 to swap an assigned carrier and $100 for any port pickup or delivery. The deposit is non-refundable, and cancellations only count in writing.
Pickup comes as a window, never a set date. Drivers usually cover 400 to 700 miles a day, according to the FAQ, and you can leave up to 100 lbs of personal items in the trunk or below the windows.
MoverJet never takes possession of your vehicle. The carrier's cargo policy covers the car in transit, and the FAQ puts typical open-trailer limits at $100,000 to $250,000. Damage has to be written on the bill of lading and reported within 24 hours, with a written claim and 2 repair estimates sent to the carrier within 10 days.
BBB records show the company incorporated in March 2017 and started operating that June. It's based at 3422 Old Capitol Trail in Wilmington, Delaware. MoverJet Logistics LLC is registered with FMCSA as a broker under USDOT 2989759 and MC-18428, and its broker authority is active. It isn't BBB accredited.
