About Montway Auto Transport
Montway Auto Transport has arranged car shipping since 2006, when it started as a small brokerage run from a home office. The Schaumburg, Illinois auto transport broker now books open car shipping, enclosed auto transport, door-to-door delivery, expedited shipping and motorcycle moves across all 50 states. Hawaii cars go by truck to a mainland port, then below deck on a Matson ship.
Montway locks your price for 30 days. Its terms call this the True Price Guarantee. Once you book with a validated card or PayPal payment, Montway won't raise the rate for fuel, carrier costs or market swings, or ask for more money to deliver the car. The guarantee covers only operable, factory-standard vehicles. It's void if you post the same car with another broker, and a shipment pushed past day 30 gets a new quote.
Your card is charged when a carrier accepts the order. Cancel before that and you owe nothing. Cancel after and Montway keeps the $249 broker fee, though you can put it toward a future order. The balance goes to the driver at delivery in cash, certified funds, cashier's check or money order, never a card.
The terms don't guarantee delivery dates. Expedited service can get a truck to you 24 to 48 hours after your first available date, for roughly 15 to 35% more, according to its expedited page. Hawaii runs take 14 to 42 days.
EVs, classic and exotic cars, and inoperable or oversized vehicles also ship. Dealers, auctions, fleets, rental companies and lenders book through its business side.
Montway never takes possession of your vehicle, and its terms place damage liability on the carrier. If you plan to file a claim, tell Montway within 48 hours of delivery so it can send you the carrier's documents.
BBB lists June 2006 as Montway's business start, and it has been BBB accredited since September 1, 2007. Its office is at 425 N Martingale Rd, Suite 550, in Schaumburg, Illinois. Montway LLC is registered with FMCSA as a broker under USDOT 2239816 and MC-611862, and that authority is active.
