About Mercury Auto Transport LLC
Mercury Auto Transport LLC ships vehicles to and from all 50 states and Puerto Rico, the company says. It's an auto transport broker based in Davie, Florida, and it books open car shipping, enclosed auto transport, flatbed and door-to-door delivery, plus terminal-to-terminal and rail options.
Nothing gets charged when you book with Mercury. Its terms say there's no deposit, and payment is taken in full only after you approve a specific carrier's offer with its price and pickup window. Payment goes to Mercury by card or bank transfer, with no card fee and no cash due at delivery. ACH payers get a Bank Payment Discount shown at checkout. If the carrier cancels or misses pickup by 72 hours and the only replacement costs more, you can cancel for a full refund.
You choose a service level: Standby, Priority or Rush. Its FAQ targets pickup within 1 to 3 business days of your first available date. Transit runs 1 to 3 days under 500 miles and 7 to 10 days coast to coast, according to the company. Some carriers share GPS tracking through MacroPoint.
Cars, SUVs, pickups, motorcycles, ATVs, RVs, limousines, classic and exotic cars, and heavy equipment are all on its list.
Changing plans late costs money. Cancel after dispatch but before pickup and the fee is 35% of the order total. Once the car is loaded, there's no refund. A failed pickup adds $100, and an undisclosed inoperable vehicle adds at least $150.
The company arranges the shipment, and a partner carrier does the hauling. Mercury confirms each carrier's cargo coverage before dispatch, and that policy covers the car. Report damage to Mercury within 48 hours of delivery, then send the carrier photos and two repair estimates within 10 days.
Mercury is based at 2240 SW 70th Ave in Davie, Florida. BBB lists its start as June 2008, while the company says it has served customers since 2007. FMCSA lists it under USDOT 2242305 and MC-647319 with active broker authority. It has been BBB accredited since November 2021.
