About LoadStation LLC
LoadStation LLC is a Lawrenceville, Georgia auto transport broker that arranges open car shipping, enclosed auto transport, door-to-door delivery, expedited shipping and motorcycle transport. Door-to-door service covers the mainland United States, while Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico and international moves go through ports. A carrier from LoadStation's network handles the actual transport.
If the quoted price isn't enough to book a carrier, LoadStation says it covers up to $200 of the Initial Payment so your total stays the same. The company calls this its Price Lock Promise. It also offers to match online quotes and quotes from local competitors.
Reserving a spot takes a refundable deposit of $75 to $249, depending on distance, paid by card or PayPal. The deposit comes off your total, and you get it back if you cancel before a driver is assigned. You can pay the full price by card at booking, or pay the deposit and the rest in cash at delivery. Auction pickups need nothing upfront and are charged once a carrier is dispatched. Referrals earn up to $25 per vehicle.
LoadStation suggests booking 2 to 3 weeks ahead. Expedited service aims for pickup within 24 to 48 hours and typically costs 15% to 45% more. Enclosed transport runs about 10% to 40% more than open. The driver calls 2 hours before delivery, and one bag of up to 100 lbs can ride in the trunk on mainland routes.
The carrier's cargo policy covers your vehicle in transit. LoadStation requires at least $1,000,000 in liability and $100,000 in cargo insurance, and it says it is listed as a certificate holder on each carrier's policy.
The company holds active FMCSA broker authority (USDOT 4131114, MC-1581925). BBB lists its start as February 2023. FMCSA lists a Lawrenceville address, and the company's office is at 2180 Satellite Blvd, Suite 400, in Duluth. It isn't BBB accredited.
