Your dispatch email names the carrier, its DOT number and its contact details. Flix's terms make checking them your job. Before you hand over the keys, confirm the driver and truck match that email. Skip the check and Flix disclaims any loss, damage or theft that follows from releasing the car to the wrong party. Keep the email open on pickup day.
Booking puts a $1 authorization on your card to confirm it's valid. The first installment is charged when Flix selects a carrier, and the rest goes to the driver at delivery in cash, cashier's check or money order. Cancel after dispatch and you lose that first payment. Once the car is loaded, the order can't be changed or canceled.
