About Fast Autoship LLC
Fast Autoship LLC is an auto transport broker in Austin, Texas, which means it books carriers for your car rather than running its own trucks. It arranges open car shipping, enclosed auto transport, door-to-door delivery and motorcycle shipping, and it says it ships nationwide.
Once you book, Fast Autoship expects to be your only broker. Its terms bar you from hiring another broker or carrier during your shipping window, and doing it anyway makes your deposit non-refundable. Canceling costs $200. If your car becomes unavailable during the scheduled pickup window, the deposit isn't refunded either. The refund policy also gives Fast Autoship the right to cancel your order at any time.
Money moves in two pieces. You authorize a small down payment by card, or by check over the phone or mail, when you book. The rest goes to the carrier at delivery in cash, a cashier's check or a money order. Non-running vehicles add $150. A car that isn't ready when the truck arrives costs $75 to reschedule, and misrepresented cargo can bring a $150 dry-run fee.
Its terms promise no pickup or delivery date. You get the carrier's schedule once your order is dispatched. Personal items can ride in the trunk up to 100 pounds, though an extra fee may apply.
Damage claims go to the carrier, in writing, within 15 days of delivery. The terms say carriers hold $100,000 to $250,000 in cargo insurance per load and at least $750,000 in liability coverage. You also need the damage listed on the bill of lading, signed by the driver, and reported to Fast Autoship within 24 hours.
BBB records show Fast Autoship started in January 2024. Its registered address is 4900 E Oltorf St in Austin, Texas. FMCSA lists it under USDOT 4192234 and MC-1615851 with active broker authority. It isn't BBB accredited.
